This is always a hard week emotionally because I’m not sure if I’m sad Summer is over or if I’m thrilled that it’s Pumpkin Spice Latte time. I think this is an awesome wedding for the transitional season because of the fun lime green and very fall-appropriate navy colors, evan though it was officially the hottest and sweatiest wedding of the year. On our way to The Vinoy, it was 105 degrees out. That’s one-oh-five, folks. 105 in Florida is a lot different than desert 105, let me tell ya. But despite the heat Allison and AJ were even more adorable than usual during their wedding day. I loved working with these gorgeous bridesmaids at one of our favorite downtown wedding venues, The Museum of Fine Arts and then Trinity Lutheran Church . I wish I knew you could get married in a museum when we got married. How cool right?! The conservatory at MFA is beautiful, and we got to shoot 2 awesome weddings there this season (tune in next week for the other one!) Allison looked like a princess and we just had a great day hanging out with her and AJ. I really adore some of their ceremony photos, the church was a sweet and intimate space.
I just am nuts over this cake from Olympia Catering- a perfect nod to the couple’s summer camp history together :)
