So pretty exciting news over here- we’ve added an assistant to our team! And she’s pretty fabulous. You may have had the chance to meet her because she has been assisting and shooting behind the scenes at some of our weddings and sessions. But today, I would like to formally introduce Mikaela-Rose! This incredibly talented and smart lady has been such a blessing to me- helping me catch up on blogging from wedding season and general office management. She just graduated from Dixie Hollins arts-magnet high school which makes her a perfect fit for us. This girl is ridiculous you guys, aside from a 4.4 GPA (yes, you read that right) she does tons of volunteer work and has won tons of awards for her photography, digital media and film. She’s attending USF in the Fall and I’m selfishly happy she’s sticking around Tampa. Here are some fun facts about Mikaela:

♥   I hope to have my own photography business in the future 
 
I asked Mikaela what she likes so far about working for us and she said “I always gain new knowledge and experience when I’m around you and Evan. Your energy is infectious and it motivates me. Plus it’s always a lot of fun!” So good to know we are staying on-brand even within our business workings! Can I say that I absolutely love hanging out with her too? We get tons of work done and I get to mentor as well, which I love. Sometimes we randomly go shoot in front of murals too.
