The holidays are coming to a close but I’m in a super sparkly mood with New Years Eve being tomorrow night, and not much is sparklier than New York City at Christmas time. I’m stoked to show off Lindsey & Michael’s engagement session today. It’s been at the top of our bucket list to shoot a session in Brooklyn and Manhattan and making it happen a few weeks ago put us in the clouds! Plus these too, are amazing. First off, have you seen a more perfect top bun?! Second, they brought (and shared) a flask of whiskey and still never complained about the cold- even when Lindsey took off her jacket to show of her adorable black tutu skirt. Here are a few more fun facts about these two:

♥ Lindsey & Michael have been together even longer than Evan and I- 18 years! They started dating at age 14 ♥ ♥ ♥

♥ Their first song together might have been by N’Sync- I mean it was 1998ish after all.

♥ Lindsey & Michael love New York City. They always dreamed of living in Manhattan one day. Each year they grew up always visiting Rockefeller Center on December 26th. Now that they live close by like they always dreamed, it’s of course where Michael proposed- during a freezing downpour of course- someone will make a movie about their romance one day.

We started their session at an extremely hipster coffee shop in Brooklyn and walked to The Brooklyn Bridge for the first part of the session (with Michael pointing out locations for Gotham along the way which Evan loved). The bridge was very cold. About 29 degrees plus lots of wind. We wore many layers. It was gorgeous still and these two are excellent cuddlers. Then we took the train to Midtown and proceeded to fight through the crowds at Rockefeller Center in December. We did manage to get amazing shots because when you are wearing a big sparkly on your finger, people make room for you and at some point a woman yells (awww they’re getting married) and people clapped, it was awesome.
