We are so so lucky, y’all. By now you know that my favorite thing in the world is continuing to shoot portraits for past wedding couples. Kat & Aaron got married at the Museum of Fine Arts in December of 2013. Kat hired us long before that though, before they even had a venue set. I remember how much we loved her right away and how excited she was about our photography. Working with her and Aaron on their wedding was so wonderful and I just love staying in touch with couples via Facebook and social media. You see past couples grow their families and in all honesty we very much hope and wait for that phone call to capture these new milestones. I was thrilled to hear from Kat and even happier when she asked that we do a maternity session with them. Isn’t she the most gorgeous mama-to-be?! Kat really loved the look of Sunken Gardens but their open hours did;t work with our session time so we went to a few semi-secret spots around downtown Saint Petersburg that have a similar look and feel. The gold and burgundy maternity gowns are from Elouise Couture and were a perfect fit I think!
