I can’t even tell you how excited I am today to post these! So let you tell me about the time I saved the day ;) Devin & Sean were referred to me by a friend less than 4 weeks before their wedding day. Their first photographer canceled on them. Canceled! Can you even believe that? Luckily I was 1) available and 2) looking to start booking our intimate wedding collections with just me. A willing test subject! We ended up being a great fit for each other actually. Devin and Sean are fun and outgoing and have amazing friends. This was perfect for my very first wedding by myself, without Evan, and I had a blast (and totally killed it if you ask me). I am so excited for future solo weddings and elopements. Evan and Remy came with me on this trip and had some Dady-daughter time. They explored historic St. Augustine while I shot with Devin & Sean at The Lightner Museum and oh-my-gosh what a gorgeous wedding venue. The courtyard was incredible and a beautiful ceremony space. Devin & Sean said their vows on the bridge in the courtyard and then we shot around the property for portraits. What a fun bridal party too! Devin and Sean both got ready close by so it was easy for me to go back and forth between their locations for portraits with them. Then we walked own the street to A1A Brewery here the reception was held (right next to The White Room). On our walk we passed a couple who looked like they were on a first date and Devin and Sean told me about how they had their first date right there and also passed a bride and groom who were having their wedding day. How sweet?! One the way to A1A Brewery we stopped and took a photo where they had their first kiss. I have never felt more appreciated as a wedding photographer, these two were wonderful to work with.
