I shot a roll of medium format film at this session (see the sneak peek here). We don’t include film in our packages currently, we just shoot a roll here and there as we feel inspired and I had a feeling that I would definitely want to shoot some at this session. I keep reading that I should be trying to post fewer photos and writing more in blog posts but then I’ve found it nearly impossible because Katy and Geoff’s session was outstanding! These guys live outside of the Tampa Bay area so this was the first time we got to meet them face to face but we immediately clicked. They are really easy going and both work in really cool fields- Katy for the state attorney’s office and Geoff has a degree in forestry.  We started shooting around the Anna Maria Island City Pier- they used to have a lot of dates down in this area so it is very special to them. After shooting around the pier we adventured to a really discreet spot- an almost hidden entry of sea grapes that led to an amazing beach access boardwalk. By the time we got out to the beach the sea fog was rolling in like crazy- it looked so cool after the sun set and made a perfect finish to our evening. These guys are getting married in October and we can’t wait! We have such cool couples, I wish we got to hang out with all of them way more than we do.
