Kathryn and Ross got married in May at The Hyatt Clearwater Beach and I blogged their full wedding a few weeks ago, but I just got back the medium format film I shot on my Rolleicord. I love that camera. The little bits of light that poke through, the focus that isn’t quite perfect. It has so much charm. Since we’ve started shooting film again for fun, we’d been in search of a 35mm camera since it’s what both Evan and I learned our craft on. Well we picked up an amazing little camera at a garage sale two weeks ago and shot 3 rolls at Jillian and Kyle’s wedding June 28th. Our test roll before the wedding came out great so we are excited to see how they turn out. The anticipation of waiting to see our images is so much fun. It brings back such fond memories and also anxiety (haha) of processing rolls of film in the darkroom in high school. I’ll be posting those as soon as they are processed!
I rarely get to shoot groomals so meeting up for a few minutes with Evan and the boys that day was a treat.
And lastly, I really wanted Ross to take a few shots of his new bride since he is a photographer. I set the camera for him and showed him how to focus it and these are the two frames he captured. I love them. What great teamwork, eh?
