Most people know that we do a lot of weddings and portraits but not everyone knows that we sometimes get to tip our toes into the world of commercial photography.  In fact, we’ve been doing these shoots for years and not really talking about them too much.  Well for the next few months we are going to start sharing some of these exciting projects with you!

I’m really excited to start this plan with one of our favorite new clients, Youphoria Yoga!  Youphoria is a small company run by a few folks that we’ve gotten to know well for the last few months.  They are dedicated to making a quality product that is affordable and addresses issues that larger manufacturers ignore. It’s always easier for us to work with a client that’s producing a product we strongly believe in (we have the Youphoria gear at home to prove it). 

This shoot was a lot of fun because we got to sit down with the client and learn all about the company, their history and what they wanted to achieve from this shoot.  It was also great because we got to do a mix of product photography and working with models.  We chose the Body Electric Yoga Company as our shooting location and then hopped around to a few parks and Downtown St Pete streets.  This location gave us some great textures and warm tones which helped to create a cool setting but also a welcome and fun attitude.  Youphoria Yoga was founded by friends who just wanted to do something that the market needed and it was important that their images reflected that philosophy.
