Shelly & Ian love beer. Their relationship started at World of Beer. So where would be the perfect place to shoot engagement photos? Right where it all started. And we made it happen. This session was a ton of fun, mostly because we have so much in common with this sweet couple. They invited us over to their house before the session to play with some gadgets and, let’s just say you learn a lot about people by their dvd collections ;) Then off we went exploring the Westchase area and of course, having fun with beer.

Above is Ian’s beer list. He’s on his way to the 500 club. That’s right, you should be impressed :) And I had to get a shot of Shelly’s purple shoes!

This is a perfect example of a non-traditional engagement session. I am always telling couples we want to shoot something that reflects their personalities, and if that means shooting in your home while you cook or relax and watch tv then that it what we should do.  Everyone is more comfortable in their element. Huge thanks to World of Beer- Westchase, for letting us come in early and have our run of the place. And Shelly & Ian, we cannot wait for June!
